Electrical Engineer – Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design analog and digital circuits for embedded and autonomous systems.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using modern ECAD tools.
- Perform component selection, simulation, and electrical analysis.
- Debug prototypes, perform root-cause analysis, and bring up new hardware.
- Integrate microcontrollers, FPGAs, communication modules, and high-speed interfaces.
- Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Document designs and participate in technical design reviews.
- Contribute to the development of power distribution, battery management, and sensor interface circuits.
Electrical Engineer – Associate Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience, with a preference for recent graduates.
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Experience with PCB design through coursework, research, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred experience with Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence and familiarity with communication protocols.
