Electrical Engineer – Associate Overview

  • The Electrical Engineer – Associate will design, prototype, and test advanced electronic systems for autonomous platforms and defense applications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop mission-critical hardware solutions.

Electrical Engineer – Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design analog and digital circuits for embedded and autonomous systems.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using modern ECAD tools.
  • Perform component selection, simulation, and electrical analysis.
  • Debug prototypes, perform root-cause analysis, and bring up new hardware.
  • Integrate microcontrollers, FPGAs, communication modules, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Document designs and participate in technical design reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of power distribution, battery management, and sensor interface circuits.

Electrical Engineer – Associate Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience, with a preference for recent graduates.
  • Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with PCB design through coursework, research, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Preferred experience with Altium Designer, KiCad, or Cadence and familiarity with communication protocols.
