Multifamily Superintendent (Concrete) Overview

  • The Multifamily Superintendent (Concrete) will oversee multifamily construction projects, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Lead the construction of a 4-story, 182-unit, 5-building multifamily project using CMU and plank concrete methods.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to onsite construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.

Multifamily Superintendent (Concrete) Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Inspect work progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly to maintain standards.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and controlling costs effectively.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.

Multifamily Superintendent (Concrete) Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in multifamily projects.
  • Proven expertise in CMU and plank concrete construction methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion independently.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and building codes.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in construction management preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage resources effectively in a dynamic environment.
