Vice President, Fund Accounting – Private Assets Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Strategically plan and execute initiatives to achieve division objectives and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Manage daily operations, resource allocation, and workflow to meet service level agreements.
  • Review and approve fund-specific accounting work and deliverables prepared by the team.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure timely responses to client queries and requests.

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 12 years preferred, in fund accounting or related roles.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally at the director level or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of private equity funds, partnership agreements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise in Net Asset Value calculations, financial statement preparation, and expense reviews.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with clients and external parties.
  • Experience managing audit processes and driving operational efficiency initiatives.
