Senior FPGA Engineer Overview
- Lead the development and optimization of FPGA designs for cutting-edge embedded systems and video processing applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to high-performance requirements.
- Contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from initial architecture design to final deployment and integration.
- Enhance engineering processes and documentation to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and customer engagements to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges involving hardware and FPGA systems.
- Engage in occasional travel to support customer testing and integration activities.
Senior FPGA Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and optimize FPGA systems using VHDL and Verilog, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
- Perform synthesis, timing analysis, and optimization using industry-standard tools to meet stringent specifications.
- Develop and debug high-speed digital interfaces for advanced embedded applications.
- Collaborate with PCB vendors to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability for seamless production.

Senior FPGA Engineer Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA and embedded hardware development.
- Proficiency with FPGA platforms and associated development tools, including simulation and verification.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and debugging techniques in complex environments.
- Knowledge of electrical design considerations for ruggedized and high-performance systems.
- Eligibility for Top Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
