Job Description

Clinical Research Scientist Overview

  • Lead clinical research initiatives in neurology, contributing to innovative CNS studies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute impactful clinical trials.
  • Engage in strategic development plans spanning early to late-phase research.
  • Provide scientific expertise for regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.
  • Monitor advancements in neurology and CNS research to inform study designs.
  • Foster relationships with clinical investigators and key opinion leaders in the field.
  • Contribute to publications and presentations showcasing groundbreaking research findings.
  • Support DSMB activities, including preparation and interpretation of materials.

Clinical Research Scientist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and refine clinical study protocols aligned with program objectives.
  • Define study endpoints, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and research methodologies.
  • Oversee data collection methods and validate clinical outcome measures.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to support trial designs.
  • Summarize and present clinical data insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and conference presentations.
  • Support interactions with health authorities, including FDA communications.
  • Lead clinical data review activities, ensuring quality and timely findings.

Clinical Research Scientist Job Requirements

  • Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) in neuroscience or related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Proven expertise in neurology and CNS disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH, GCP, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in matrixed environments.
  • Experience interacting with clinical investigators and key medical experts.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic development plans and scientific publications.
