Lead Electrical Engineer II Overview

Lead Electrical Engineer II Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Architect and design complex electrical systems, including digital and analog circuitry, for high-performance applications.
  • Develop and validate power supply topologies, ensuring efficiency and reliability under diverse operating conditions.
  • Conduct signal integrity analysis, EMI/EMC mitigation, and reliability testing to meet stringent industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within broader hardware platforms.
  • Lead design reviews and validation efforts, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee transitions from prototype to production, focusing on scalability and manufacturability.

Lead Electrical Engineer II Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design, including schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer for PCB design and simulation is essential.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 compliance for durability and EMI/EMC standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings.
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) techniques for PCB/PCBA production and assembly processes.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to comply with security regulations and project requirements.
