Technology Specialist Overview

  • Serve as a Technology Specialist, bridging business needs with innovative technical solutions in a dynamic hybrid work environment.
  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support, ensuring seamless ERP workflows and efficient Windows 11 migration processes.
  • Analyze operational processes, gather stakeholder requirements, and recommend productivity-enhancing improvements.
  • Support enterprise AI integration initiatives while maintaining compliance with data privacy standards.
  • Manage user lifecycle processes, including account provisioning and ERP access control.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and suggest proactive technical solutions.
  • Test and implement ERP workflows to align with evolving business objectives.
  • Maintain robust security systems and enforce endpoint protection protocols.

Technology Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues at the first level of support.
  • Manage ERP user accounts, including role-based access control and troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with ERP modules, addressing data entry and reporting errors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and recommend system-enabled improvements.
  • Develop and execute test plans for ERP workflows to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage workstation imaging and compatibility during the Windows 11 transition.
  • Enforce security policies, including MFA and endpoint protection protocols.
  • Support enterprise AI assistants, assisting users with prompt engineering and tool navigation.

Technology Specialist Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in IT support or business analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Office 365, Windows 10/11 administration, and desktop support.
  • Experience with AD, IPSec VPNs, MFA, and XDR systems.
  • Strong interest in adopting AI-assisted workflows and integrating enterprise AI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend proactive technical solutions.
  • Experience in managing user lifecycle and ERP access control processes.
