Vice President, Fund Accounting Overview

  • The Vice President, Fund Accounting role offers a strategic position within a global investment and advisory firm.
  • Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for private funds and related entities.
  • Collaborate with investment and operations teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in fund management.
  • Lead quarterly closes, fund audits, and drive improvements in reporting processes.
  • Represent accounting at private fund board meetings and ensure compliance with SEC custody rules.
  • Coordinate production of capital statements, holdings reports, and financial statements for investors.

Vice President, Fund Accounting Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee accurate accounting and financial reporting for private funds and related entities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal documents and SEC custody rules through annual audits.
