FX Operations Trade Support Overview

• The FX Operations Trade Support role focuses on managing Foreign Exchange transaction settlements and payment processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure accurate and timely trade lifecycle management.
• Handle Spot FX, FX Forwards, FX Swaps, NDFs, NDS, and related cash movements.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory expectations and market deadlines.
• Support audit, controls testing, and management reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows and scalability.
• Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration.
• Contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment.

FX Operations Trade Support Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Validate, process, and settle Foreign Exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage daily settlement activities, including payment release and receipt monitoring.
• Monitor trade bookings, confirmations, and settlement queues to resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile FX activity and cash movements across internal systems and counterparties.
• Partner with various teams to resolve settlement issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Produce daily and weekly reports detailing settlement statuses and exposures.
• Investigate settlement fails and provide analysis for decision-making.
• Escalate high-risk exposures and unresolved issues to management for review.
• Enhance operational controls and straight-through processing capabilities.

FX Operations Trade Support Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or equivalent educational background.
• Preferred 7 years of experience in FX operations or related fields.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems and reconciliation tools.
• Strong understanding of FX trade lifecycle and settlement processes.
• Experience with SWIFT, CLS, Bloomberg, FXall, and other industry platforms.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to manage high-volume activities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong control mindset and deadline-driven approach.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams and counterparties.
• Curiosity to expand knowledge across multiple asset classes.
