Enterprise Technology Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer and maintain hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Manage enterprise applications such as Omnissa Horizon, Citrix, and Office 365, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline system management and operational processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to design and deploy enterprise system interfaces and integrations.
- Conduct system patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance testing to ensure security standards.
- Assist in cloud migration efforts, evaluating and deploying cloud-based platforms and services.
- Document system configurations and changes, adhering to strict change management protocols.
- Provide rotational on-call support for critical systems and applications, addressing after-hours issues as needed.
Enterprise Technology Engineer Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering or cloud architecture roles; 7 years preferred.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid environments and supporting cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon and Citrix platforms, including thin/zero client deployment.
- Expertise in scripting and automation tools, particularly PowerShell, for system management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
- High-level certifications in Microsoft Azure, VMware, or Windows Administration are preferred.
- Experience in financial services environments with knowledge of industry-specific security and compliance needs.
