Workplace Coordinator Overview

Workplace Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure workplace standards are upheld across all office floors.
  • Inspect and maintain conference rooms, kitchens, wellness rooms, and common areas.
  • Perform routine inspections of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance schedules with vendors and contractors.
  • Monitor janitorial services and ensure cleanliness throughout the office.
  • Conduct inventory audits and replenish supplies to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with meeting and event setups, including furniture arrangements and catering coordination.
  • Maintain operational documentation, including SOPs, maintenance logs, and vendor records.
  • Support workplace-related requests and ensure timely resolutions.

Workplace Coordinator Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with entry-level experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate or hospitality settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to be responsive, resourceful, and work effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated and thorough, with a proactive approach to anticipating needs.
  • Comfortable moving small to medium-sized items, up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexible to work occasional late hours as required.
