Controller Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead strategic engagements providing outsourced CFO leadership and financial advisory services.
• Advise clients on financial planning, capital management, and business performance optimization.
• Guide clients through major financial initiatives including growth strategies and fund restructurings.
• Supervise teams across multiple client relationships ensuring quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with tax, HR, insurance, and technology service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop new client relationships and expand advisory opportunities within the firm.
• Oversee financial reporting structures for diverse business models and operational needs.
• Support the firm’s growth by contributing to advisory capability development.

Controller Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with preference for candidates with 15 years.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, reporting, and operational scaling.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and client relationships.
• Ability to oversee complex financial initiatives and reporting structures.
• Familiarity with hybrid work environments combining remote and onsite collaboration.
• Experience in advisory services and developing scalable finance processes.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
