Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational excellence in a dynamic hedge fund environment, ensuring seamless trade lifecycle management and data accuracy across diverse financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Manage trade booking and allocation processes, maintaining data integrity and compliance with operational standards.
  • Maintain security master data and fee schedules, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information for operational use.
  • Resolve settlement discrepancies for equities, derivatives, and other financial instruments, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Execute end-of-day PNL processes, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to support dynamic investment operations and strategic goals.
  • Utilize project management skills to drive operational enhancements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Develop and refine operational workflows to improve scalability and efficiency in a high-performance environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required, with strong academic credentials.
  • 7-12 years of experience in middle-office operations within hedge funds or financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in OMS/PMS systems and comprehensive knowledge of trade lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Equity TRS, OTC derivatives processing, and corporate actions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Enfusion and AI tools is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and drive operational success.
