Overview
- Lead multifamily construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives and maintain standards.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and contractual agreements.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships, addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including historic renovation requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of project plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and timelines for multifamily construction projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to discuss updates and address concerns effectively.
- Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, and other essential project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with National Park Service standards for historic renovation projects.
- Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and junior staff in their roles.
- Monitor delegated design processes and coordinate effectively with MEP engineers.
- Address client-facing responsibilities with professionalism and effective communication.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in GMP contract management and budget oversight is essential.
- Experience in multifamily construction projects; historic renovation experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills for managing detailed paperwork and reporting.
- Effective communication skills for client-facing interactions and team coordination.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members successfully.
- Willingness to relocate to Augusta and work on-site for the project duration.
