Project Architect Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and oversee architectural designs from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using Revit software.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design and construction standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project success.
• Address and resolve design and construction challenges promptly.

Project Architect Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of architectural experience; 8-15 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit software for design and documentation.
• Experience in justice, corrections, or institutional/commercial projects is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work on-site and travel as required for project needs.
