Job Description

Workday Solution Lead Overview

  • The Workday Solution Lead will manage and optimize the Workday ecosystem, focusing on Core HCM and related modules.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to design scalable Workday solutions.
  • Lead transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and module rollouts within the Workday platform.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise across Workday modules, including Compensation, Benefits, and Talent Management.
  • Develop advanced Workday reports and dashboards to support organizational decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability within Workday reporting standards.
  • Support integration troubleshooting and coordination with internal and external vendors.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, process flows, and functional designs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment focused on operational excellence.

Workday Solution Lead Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizations, and security assignments.
  • Lead requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment for Workday projects.
  • Analyze downstream impacts of configuration changes across integrations and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and discovery boards.
  • Support integration troubleshooting and coordinate with IT and external vendors.
  • Optimize self-service functionality for employees and managers within Workday.
  • Partner with HR and business teams to understand operational needs and recommend solutions.
  • Provide post-production support and ongoing system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices in Workday usage.

Workday Solution Lead Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience with Workday systems required.
  • Workday Certification(s) preferred; Studio or Extend certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in full lifecycle Workday implementation, from planning to post-production support.
  • Hands-on expertise in Workday integrations, reporting, and security configurations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with HR and technical teams to optimize Workday functionality.
