Patient Service Representative Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Verify insurance coverage for scheduled patients, including pre-authorization verification.

- Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization for a welcoming atmosphere.
- Accurately record visit co-payments and reconcile sliding fee payments on daily summary reports.
- Support clinic operations by commuting to other clinic locations as needed.
Patient Service Representative Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required for educational background.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field or medical setting.
- Familiarity with standard medical field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with E-Clinical Works is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to enhance patient communication.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts as required.
