Project Architect Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.

Project Architect Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional architectural license and minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
