Valuation Overview

  • The Valuation role supports the firm's valuation oversight function across diverse investment structures.
  • Contribute to governance, methodology oversight, and control environment for valuation processes.
  • Ensure valuations are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Valuation Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute end-to-end valuation processes, including governance and fair value determinations.
  • Define and implement valuation strategies to enhance scalability and control.
  • Evaluate complex positions, challenge pricing, and analyze valuation issues.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain robust documentation frameworks.
  • Oversee pricing vendors and third-party service providers for quality assurance.
  • Identify risks and implement enhancements to strengthen valuation controls.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on valuation matters and audits.
  • Design and review complex valuation models aligned with industry standards.

Valuation Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with strong analytical skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience in valuation or pricing functions.
  • Deep expertise in valuation methodologies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, Bloomberg, and other valuation tools.
  • Experience with corporate actions and derivatives valuation processes.
  • Ability to operate independently and make judgment-based decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and risk management.
