Accounting Associate Overview

  • The Accounting Associate will support financial operations by preparing schedules, workpapers, and assisting with monthly and quarterly accounting close processes.
  • Perform bank and mortgage reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations.
  • Run and distribute financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making across departments.
  • Prepare cash receipt and vendor request forms, maintaining detailed records for audit and operational purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare lender packages and manage ad hoc financial projects.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Accounting Associate Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of real estate and accounting systems is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
