Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to trade execution and derivatives management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment prioritizing precision and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management of derivative transactions across internal systems and reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align trades with strategic objectives and valuation methodologies.
  • Drive process improvements leveraging advanced tools such as Excel, Python, and AI technologies.
  • Support scalability by cross-training across derivative and private market products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties, and fund administrators to ensure seamless execution.
  • Engage in a collaborative, high-performance culture requiring adaptability and a proactive ownership mindset.
  • Gain exposure to trading, finance, and technology functions within a leading organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Book and validate derivative transactions ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage trade lifecycle events including resets, payments, and amendments.
  • Coordinate with technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture and reporting.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth trade execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational performance.
  • Cross-train across additional products to enhance team scalability and continuity.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in middle office, trade support, or derivatives operations.
  • Proficiency in derivative products, trade booking, and lifecycle management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Python, and AI tools for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, MarkitWire, and trade capture systems.
  • Understanding of valuation concepts across Swaps, FX, Rates, Futures, Credit, and Fixed Income.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with intellectual curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
