Investment Associate Overview

  • The Investment Associate will support the client in all aspects of the investment process, from origination to portfolio management.

Investment Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in developing and executing origination strategies to maximize deal flow and enhance market visibility.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with restructuring firms, investment banks, and other intermediaries.
  • Conduct initial investment reviews and screenings of prospective opportunities for the firm.
  • Prepare financial evaluations and preliminary due diligence reports for investment projects.
  • Monitor portfolio assets, review monthly operating results, and maintain project performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with management teams to leverage resources and optimize organizational potential.
  • Support deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management activities.

Investment Associate Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA certification preferred.
  • 4-7 years of combined experience in public accounting assurance and transaction services.
  • Minimum of 2 years of transaction services experience required.
  • Willingness to travel and work with confidential information.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with private equity and venture capital principles.
