Accounting Associate Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain accurate books and records for the management company and related entities, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Manage accounts payable activities, including vendor onboarding, invoice reviews, approvals, and payment processing.
- Prepare and verify wire instructions for cash movements and support accounts receivable processes.
- Coordinate reimbursement of expenses from portfolio companies and affiliates, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Review expense reports for proper inclusion in the accounting system and prepare ad hoc analyses and reports.
- Track tax payments, deadlines, and correspondence while supporting annual audits and budget processes.
- Participate in system implementations and special projects to optimize financial operations and reporting.
Accounting Associate Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, with strong academic credentials.
- Two to three years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating proficiency in financial operations.
