Administrative Assistant Overview

Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Cover front desk operations, ensuring smooth handling of incoming and outgoing communications.
  • Order, set up, and clean up meals for meetings and events as needed.
  • Restock office supplies and maintain inventory to support daily operations.
  • Track deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing packages efficiently.
  • Assist with document preparation, including Statements of Work (SOW) and tax processing.
  • Handle administrative requests submitted through job logs, ensuring timely completion.
  • Collaborate with teams to support general administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Administrative Assistant Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative experience in a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective multitasking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with superior grammar and punctuation.
  • Ability to work with top-level management and external clients professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
