Trainer Overview

Trainer Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct group and individual training sessions on firm IT applications and processes.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, quick reference materials, and training documentation.
  • Lead onboarding training for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into systems.
  • Act as the primary contact for technology training requests and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with HR to support staff development initiatives and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with IT to stay informed on software updates and new tools.
  • Provide input on technology adoption strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and organize training materials.
  • Collaborate with consultants to develop innovative training programs and materials.

Trainer Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a law firm environment, focusing on training or staff development.
  • Proficiency in standard law firm software and willingness to learn firm-specific tools.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
