Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Development Team in managing event logistics for a high-profile event with up to 200 attendees.
  • Coordinate donor communications, acknowledgements, and database updates to ensure accurate tracking of donations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain knowledge of affinity groups and handle correspondence as required.
  • Provide administrative support for donor tracking and fiscal year-end reporting.
  • Assist in preparing financial data for board meetings and unrestricted revenue tracking.
  • Contribute to mission-driven initiatives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for a two-part event, including venue setup and vendor management.
  • Manage event registration, RSVPs, and communication with VIPs and sponsors.
  • Track and reconcile incoming donations, ensuring accurate database updates.
  • Collaborate with accounting to process payments and confirm donation purposes.
  • Prepare administrative materials for events, including attendee lists and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate volunteers to assist with event execution and logistics.
  • Support donor tracking and communication for affinity groups and fundraising initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit event planning and fundraising.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience managing donor relations and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in online fundraising platforms, such as Network for Good.
  • Strong project management and communication skills to coordinate diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience tracking unrestricted revenue and preparing financial reports.
