Overview
- Lead the Med/Surg/Tele department in a dynamic healthcare setting, ensuring optimal patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the Med/Surg/Tele department, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with labor laws.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Facilitate communication between staff, patients, and families to ensure satisfaction and resolution of concerns.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient transitions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance staff competencies and knowledge.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing; 3 years preferred.
- Current California RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in basic EKG interpretation or completion of an EKG course within six months.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including charge nurse or supervisory roles, preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality patient care.
