Vice President of Finance Overview

• The Vice President of Finance will lead financial strategy and operational rigor for a growing healthcare organization.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to design and execute financial objectives and frameworks.
• Develop KPI frameworks and management reporting to support organizational decision-making and scalability.
• Ensure robust internal controls and audit readiness for a multi-entity healthcare platform.
• Optimize AP platform configurations for streamlined operations and reporting accuracy.
• Lead cross-functional financial workstreams tied to M&A integration and investor materials.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
• Support the development of scalable financial systems and processes for sustained growth.

Vice President of Finance Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Act as a thought partner to the CFO, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
• Design and implement KPI frameworks for clinical, operational, and financial metrics.
• Develop and maintain defensible P&L allocation methodologies across locations and departments.
• Ensure accurate tagging and reporting of one-time and non-recurring expenses.
• Assess and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance and scalability.
• Optimize AP platform workflows and configurations to match organizational needs.
• Collaborate on financial close processes and system architecture improvements.
• Support financial workstreams related to M&A integration and board reporting.

Vice President of Finance Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 7–12+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in healthcare services or PE-backed environments.
• Proven expertise in building KPI frameworks and management reporting systems.
• Strong internal controls background with audit readiness experience.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct or comparable accounting platforms preferred.
• Experience with Ramp or similar AP/spend management platforms preferred.
• Ability to operate autonomously while delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Multi-entity or multi-location accounting/finance experience is a strong plus.
