WinOMS Training Specialist Overview
- The WinOMS Training Specialist will lead training initiatives, workflow standardization, and process improvement across multiple office locations.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for clinical and administrative staff on WinOMS software and treatment planning processes.
- Ensure consistent and patient-centered treatment planning experiences across all practice locations.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and optimize operational workflows.
- Conduct audits and competency assessments to ensure training effectiveness and adherence to protocols.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for WinOMS software, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to treatment acceptance and scheduling conversion rates.
- Support new office openings and system enhancements to maintain operational excellence.
WinOMS Training Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for WinOMS software users.
- Create and maintain standardized workflows, training manuals, and quick reference guides.
- Conduct audits to ensure documentation accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Train staff on treatment plan presentation, patient communication, and financial discussions.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement new initiatives and improve operational workflows.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and competency assessments to staff members.
- Support new office openings and system enhancements to ensure seamless integration.
WinOMS Training Specialist Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with WinOMS software.
- 3+ years of experience in oral surgery or specialty dental practices.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, or coaching staff.
- Strong understanding of treatment planning, insurance workflows, and patient scheduling.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to travel between multiple practice locations as required.
