Style Master and Costing Manager Overview

  • The Style Master and Costing Manager oversees style data management and costing processes within the ERP system.
  • Collaborates with design and product teams to ensure accurate style specifications and lifecycle management.
  • Maintains shared libraries for color and size data, supporting seasonal product development timelines.
  • Manages production and standard cost sheets, ensuring accurate landed cost calculations.
  • Audits style master and costing data for consistency and accuracy across systems.
  • Supports decision-making processes with timely reports and analysis for merchandising and finance teams.
  • Provides training on ERP data standards and supports system enhancements and testing initiatives.
  • Works in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration.

Style Master and Costing Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Create and maintain style master records, including detailed specifications and lifecycle statuses.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure style data aligns with approved specifications.
  • Build and validate cost sheets, tracking FOB, freight, duty, and overhead elements.
  • Ensure accurate landed cost calculations, considering trade and tariff conditions.
  • Audit style and costing data for consistency across production and finance systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analysis for cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Train users on ERP best practices and support system enhancements and testing.
  • Collaborate with import and compliance teams to ensure classification and duty rate accuracy.

Style Master and Costing Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 10 years preferred, in style and costing management.
  • Proficiency in Blue Cherry ERP system and style master management.
  • Strong knowledge of costing elements, including FOB, freight, duty, and overhead.
  • Experience in auditing data for consistency and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Ability to train cross-functional teams and support ERP system enhancements.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills to provide actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site collaboration.
