Vice President, Capital Formation & Communications Overview

  • The Vice President, Capital Formation & Communications will lead efforts to strengthen investor relationships and enhance the firm's market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with senior decision-makers and the investment team to align capital formation and marketing strategies.
  • Develop compelling materials and campaigns to support fundraising and deepen investor engagement.
  • Shape the firm's brand and communications presence within the fund finance market.
  • Operate independently and with ownership in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Leverage marketing analytics to evaluate effectiveness and connect activities to outcomes.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and process improvements across the platform.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members.

Vice President, Capital Formation & Communications Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute investor-facing campaigns and materials to support capital formation initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across marketing, sales, and investor communications materials.
  • Manage social media content, paid campaigns, and engagement on LinkedIn.
  • Craft and deploy HTML emails and investor communications campaigns.
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness through KPIs and digital engagement data.
  • Act as project manager for fundraising activities, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and process improvements across the platform.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce investor presentations and data room content.
  • Support the development of marketing dashboards and reporting systems.

Vice President, Capital Formation & Communications Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or investor relations within investment management or private credit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Adobe design tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and with ownership in a lean team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging external stakeholders professionally.
  • Proactive problem solver with creative instincts and a focus on high-quality execution.
