Events Coordinator Overview

  • The Events Coordinator will manage logistics for field events, ensuring seamless execution and attendee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate hosted dinners, sponsorship activations, and regional programs in the Northeast market.
  • Source venues, vendors, catering, signage, swag, and AV equipment for events.
  • Develop and maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, and staffing plans.
  • Manage attendee registration, communications, and on-site check-in processes.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to build invite lists and ensure event objectives are met.
  • Track event budgets and vendor expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Compile post-event recaps, analyzing attendance, feedback, and logistical outcomes.
  • This is a remote, part-time contract role with flexible scheduling opportunities.

Events Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties

Events Coordinator Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of event planning or coordination experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in event management tools like Asana or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Northeast market and regional event logistics preferred.
