Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and documentation of medical records.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of auxiliary staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Travel between designated locations to provide coverage and maintain operational continuity.
• Assist in surgical procedures and dermatological treatments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical systems.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and health management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current registration as a Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Minimum of one year post-licensure nursing experience; three years preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory.
• Experience in dermatology, surgery, and Cerner PowerChart is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between multiple locations as required.
