Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, implement, and maintain ontology-driven applications within Palantir Foundry.
- Develop operational dashboards, workflows, and actions for leadership and operational teams.
- Govern enterprise ontology objects, relationships, and reusable data models.
- Support production operations, including incident response and troubleshooting.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Lead deployment promotion, release management, and environment governance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Mentor engineers on best practices in ontology design and application architecture.

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 7 years preferred.
- Deep expertise with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology Manager and Workshop.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience integrating ERP, GIS, and operational systems into Foundry.
- Strong understanding of governance, release management, and platform support models.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives with limited oversight.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
