Interior Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties

Interior Designer Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent education in interior design preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of interior design experience; 7 years preferred for advanced project leadership.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam software for design and documentation tasks.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge in interior design practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills to effectively manage project teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects and clients on multiple projects simultaneously.
