Temporary Technician Overview
- The Temporary Technician role focuses on supporting Omnicell installation projects in a behavioral health facility.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient setup and operation of automated systems.
- Provide expertise in Omnicell systems to streamline pharmacy operations and inventory management.
- Contribute to the successful completion of the Omnicell project within the designated timeline.
- Participate in mandatory orientation to familiarize with facility protocols and systems.
- Work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, ensuring project continuity.
- Assist in stocking Omnicell systems and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Support training initiatives for staff on the use of Omnicell systems.
- Ensure compliance with all credentialing and background check requirements prior to start.
Temporary Technician Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist in the installation and setup of Omnicell systems within the facility.
- Stock and organize Omnicell systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to optimize system utilization.
- Participate in hospital orientation to understand site-specific protocols.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Omnicell systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with facility dress code and professional standards.
- Train staff on the operation and maintenance of Omnicell systems.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and system updates.
- Coordinate with the CFO for travel arrangements if required.
Temporary Technician Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy technician roles; 5 years preferred.
- Strong expertise in Omnicell systems and automated pharmacy technologies.
- Ability to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
- Completion of mandatory orientation and credentialing requirements prior to start.
- Background check, drug screen, and license verification required.
- Knowledge of HCS order entry systems preferred; training available.
- Ability to adhere to dress code and facility protocols.
- Experience in behavioral health pharmacy settings is advantageous.
