• The Senior Financial Applications Analyst administers, supports, and enhances financial systems with a focus on the Aderant environment.
• Serve as a technical liaison to the Finance department, ensuring effective communication and resolution of system issues.
• Coordinate system and process improvements, implementing new technologies and promoting best practices.
• Support Finance-led initiatives and collaborate with Information Services teams for successful execution.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business processes through system automation and workflow optimization.
• Maintain current knowledge of platform capabilities and emerging technologies relevant to financial systems.
• Develop and maintain technical and user documentation for financial systems technologies and procedures.
• Participate in operational support, responding to help desk tickets and service requests.

Senior Financial Applications Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer and support financial systems, ensuring performance tuning, customizations, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with Finance users and vendors for issue resolution, integrations, and technology deployments.
• Track progress on initiatives and drive timely resolution of system-related issues.
• Partner with teams to understand Finance business processes and operational requirements.
• Identify and implement system enhancements and automation to improve efficiency.
• Maintain expertise in financial systems platforms and emerging technologies.
• Develop technical and end-user documentation for systems and processes.
• Respond to help desk tickets and operational support needs as part of a team.

Senior Financial Applications Analyst Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years supporting financial systems.
• Experience with the Aderant Expert Suite of applications is strongly preferred.
• Strong enterprise system administration skills for complex application environments.
• Knowledge of programming concepts, scripting, and reporting tools.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools for troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
• Ability to create detailed technical and end-user documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in managing responsibilities independently.
