Patient Recruitment Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Act as the primary contact for new and existing patients, providing detailed study information and addressing inquiries.
- Recruit and pre-screen participants using established protocols, ensuring eligibility and commitment to study requirements.
- Schedule and manage participant appointments, coordinating transportation and accommodations as needed.
- Maintain and update participant records in electronic databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with study teams to achieve enrollment targets and optimize cross-screening opportunities.
- Apply FDA, GCP, and HIPAA guidelines consistently to safeguard participant data and uphold ethical standards.

Patient Recruitment Specialist Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree required; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, communications, or science preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in call center, customer service, or clinical research roles.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare or clinical research environments.
- High-speed internet access meeting minimum requirements of 70 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems and databases efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interactive listening abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by study schedules.
