Interim Registered Nurse Case Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and hospital policies related to case management.
• Document all case management activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with social work and clinical teams to support efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to optimize patient care strategies and outcomes.

Interim Registered Nurse Case Manager Job Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license; Arkansas or compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care case management experience required.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree required; BSN preferred.
• Certification in ACM or CCM is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, with Cerner experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of InterQual/MCG criteria and discharge planning processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to work onsite during day shifts and adhere to a 40-hour workweek.
• Commitment to a 12-week contract assignment with potential for extension.
