Senior Project Manager Overview

  • The Senior Project Manager will oversee data center projects from design to construction, ensuring alignment with client goals and program requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, internal teams, and authorities, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and supervise multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring successful coordination and project delivery.
  • Oversee project documentation, including drafting, modeling, and construction documents, adhering to design standards.
  • Direct construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and punch walks.
  • Utilize Revit and BIM 360 for project development and coordination in a cloud-shared environment.
  • Ensure compliance with building, fire, and energy codes throughout all project phases.
  • Adapt to evolving client needs or project changes, guiding the team through adjustments effectively.
  • Contribute to proposals and design criteria manuals, supporting professional documentation delivery.

Senior Project Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) required; licensure preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with 15 years preferred.
  • 10+ years of architectural practice with a focus on fast-paced project delivery.
  • 6+ years of experience in data center and mission-critical projects, including tenant improvements and ground-up designs.
  • 8+ years of Revit production experience, particularly in data center projects using BIM 360.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction documentation, detail development, and construction administration processes.
  • Proven understanding of building, fire, and energy codes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and guide teams through changes.
