Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Director Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory; MSN or related graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery settings.
- Experience with QUAD A accreditation processes or similar regulatory standards is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in clinical quality assurance, performance improvement, and operational leadership.
- CNOR or CASC certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to manage multi-site clinical operations and develop targeted staff education programs.
- Familiarity with physician practice environments and combined practice-surgery center models is advantageous.
