Senior Associate, Marketing and Business Development Overview

  • The Senior Associate, Marketing and Business Development will support business development initiatives, ensuring high-quality client-facing materials and strategic clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams to develop compelling proposals, RFPs, DDQs, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain and enhance content libraries, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with firm standards.
  • Research prospective clients to understand their needs and competitive landscape, driving effective positioning strategies.
  • Develop data visualizations and exhibits that effectively communicate investment strategies and insights.
  • Support CRM management and pipeline tracking, ensuring timely reporting and opportunity analysis.
  • Bring intellectual curiosity to workflow tools and AI applications, enhancing team efficiency.
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic initiatives, bridging investment insights with business development goals.

Senior Associate, Marketing and Business Development Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with investment teams to create accurate, compelling business development materials.
  • Manage RFP responses from inception to submission, coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Develop and maintain a best-practice content library, improving quality and consistency.
  • Create custom exhibits and pitch materials for client presentations and finalist meetings.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients to tailor strategies and materials effectively.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage pipelines, track deadlines, and produce insightful reports.
  • Apply AI and workflow tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure alignment of client-facing materials with strategic objectives and firm standards.

Senior Associate, Marketing and Business Development Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree with a strong foundation in investment fluency across asset classes.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience, with 8 years preferred, in investment, research, or consulting roles.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, capable of managing complex proposals end-to-end.
  • Strong written communication skills, able to distill complex topics effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to ownership and quality in deliverables.
  • Progress toward or holding CFA or CAIA designation is preferred.
  • Hybrid consulting or OCIO-style background is advantageous.
