Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations across three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements for all facilities.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Nursing to align clinical and operational priorities effectively.
  • Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance service line capabilities and growth.
  • Build strong relationships with physician partners and medical staff leadership.
  • Oversee survey readiness and lead accreditation and regulatory inspections.
  • Facilitate governing board meetings and present operational updates to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the ASC platform with new center openings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the administrative leader for three ASCs, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Design and manage a cross-site travel schedule to maintain presence at each center.
  • Partner with Directors of Nursing to support clinical leadership and operational priorities.
  • Monitor financial metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate on supply chain management and cost containment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state licensure, and accreditation standards.
  • Lead survey readiness and accreditation processes across all facilities.
  • Engage with physician partners to address concerns and foster collaboration.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and partnership opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an ASC Administrator or equivalent leader.
  • Proven experience managing multiple sites or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and operational analysis.
  • Familiarity with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation processes.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) background preferred; clinical experience highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable with significant local travel and managing a fluid schedule.
  • Experience with orthopedic, GI/endoscopy, or multispecialty ASC service lines.
