Overview
- Lead operations across three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements for all facilities.
- Collaborate with Directors of Nursing to align clinical and operational priorities effectively.
- Manage financial performance, including P&L accountability and operational efficiency improvements.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance service line capabilities and growth.
- Build strong relationships with physician partners and medical staff leadership.
- Oversee survey readiness and lead accreditation and regulatory inspections.
- Facilitate governing board meetings and present operational updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the expansion of the ASC platform with new center openings.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as the administrative leader for three ASCs, ensuring operational excellence.
- Design and manage a cross-site travel schedule to maintain presence at each center.
- Partner with Directors of Nursing to support clinical leadership and operational priorities.
- Monitor financial metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive efficiency.
- Collaborate on supply chain management and cost containment initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state licensure, and accreditation standards.
- Lead survey readiness and accreditation processes across all facilities.
- Engage with physician partners to address concerns and foster collaboration.
- Support strategic growth initiatives and partnership opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an ASC Administrator or equivalent leader.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites or business units simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and operational analysis.
- Familiarity with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation processes.
- Registered Nurse (RN) background preferred; clinical experience highly valued.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable with significant local travel and managing a fluid schedule.
- Experience with orthopedic, GI/endoscopy, or multispecialty ASC service lines.
