Job Description

Senior Analyst, Allocations and Finance Overview

  • The Senior Analyst, Allocations and Finance will oversee cost allocation frameworks and financial operations for corporate departments.
  • Collaborate with global affiliates, tax teams, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide budgeting and accounting support for centrally managed corporate functions, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Develop financial models and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Prepare month-end close packages and forecast decks to track financial performance against objectives.
  • Assist in compiling data for external reporting schedules and Board presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within allocation rules and reporting systems.
  • Support corporate teams with operational needs, including invoice submissions and purchase order tracking.

Senior Analyst, Allocations and Finance Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and maintain global cost allocation methodologies for corporate departments, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Gather and validate cost-driver metrics, collaborating with regional controllers for formal sign-offs.
  • Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and allocation true-ups.
  • Prepare detailed month-end close packages and forecast decks for financial analysis.
  • Develop long-term financial models to support strategic decisions and planning.
  • Compile allocation and corporate spend data for external reporting and Board presentations.
  • Support operational needs of corporate teams, including vendor setup and cash-outflow monitoring.
  • Identify and implement automation solutions for allocation rules and reporting processes.

Senior Analyst, Allocations and Finance Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Intercompany Accounting, FP&A, or Corporate Controllership.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex financial models and large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion, or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • CPA certification or Big 4 accounting experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of international transfer pricing and shared-services financial management.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
