Director of Nursing Emergency Room Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Department experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines in hospital settings.
• Proven experience in quality performance monitoring and labor management.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage departmental budgets effectively.
• Proficiency in computer systems, particularly Meditech, for operational management.
• Strong time management skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.
• Licensed by the NC Board of Nursing, with active credentials.
