IT Operations Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain secure Windows images and automation scripts.
• Manage Microsoft Intune or Tanium profiles and compliance policies.
• Administer Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory systems.
• Create and refine PowerShell scripts for provisioning and compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents across endpoints and collaboration tools.
• Lead device refresh programs and configuration rollouts.
• Collaborate on access reviews and incident response procedures.
• Maintain database accuracy and generate operational metrics reports.

IT Operations Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in endpoint and systems support roles.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and endpoint hardware.
• Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives effectively.
