Fund Controller Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, addressing queries and providing guidance on private equity accounting and reporting.
  • Facilitate discussions between clients and internal teams, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Analyze investment capital structures to determine accounting and data requirements.
  • Review and oversee capital calls, distributions, and valuation activities for client investments.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client reports and financial statements, meeting all reporting deadlines.

Fund Controller Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 15 years preferred, in fund administration or financial services.

  • Strong ability to interpret investment legal documentation and analyze capital structures.
