Adult Psychiatrist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for inpatient care, addressing primary and secondary disorders.
  • Collaborate on treatment planning with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
  • Administer psychotherapeutic methods and medications, monitoring and adjusting as necessary.

Adult Psychiatrist Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with 5 years preferred in psychiatric care.
  • Unrestricted licensure in Massachusetts and DEA registration for controlled substances.
