  • The Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis role focuses on strategic finance within the Credit investment strategies of the client.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and senior teams to drive financial planning and capital allocation frameworks.
  • Support growth and profitability through advanced financial modeling and performance analysis.

Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead financial planning and analysis for Credit investment strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to track performance metrics.
  • Analyze revenue drivers, fee economics, and profitability across multi-entity structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pricing, funding, and strategic transactions.
  • Synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to firm-level strategic finance projects and enterprise forecasts.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytics processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and new product launches.

Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • 3–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, or alternative asset management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and decision support for complex structures.
  • Strong understanding of Credit investment strategies and capital structures.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with enterprise planning tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
