Mental Health Clinician Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with child welfare services when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare personnel to integrate psychosocial factors into patient care.

Mental Health Clinician Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure in New York State as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with experience in diverse patient populations.
- Ability to supervise interns and attend required supervisory training courses.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements for healthcare settings.
- Experience in crisis intervention, behavior modification, and brief treatment methodologies.
- Proficiency in documenting patient services and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred with additional compensation incentives.
